I can’t tell you how many times I’ve searched Google, to no avail, for a feminine camera bag. I wanted something girly, and that didn’t look like a camera bag from the outside. Moreover, I wanted the bag to be able to fit my DSLR and multiple lenses with no problem. Luckily, I found all of this when I came across the Claremont by Lo & Sons. After three months of continually carrying the Claremont, I’m ready to share my favorite travel accessory.
The story behind Lo & Sons

After a frustrating search for the perfect travel bag, Helen Lo decided to take things into her own hands and to create her own designs. With her sons by her side, she would create sleek and lightweight bags that would have room for EVERYTHING. If you take a moment to check out some of their designs, you can see that Helen succeeded in combining all of these items into unique bags that you can’t find anywhere else.
The style
The Claremont was specifically designed to be the perfect bag for DSLR cameras. With this in mind, it has some awesome features, such as:
- Internal quilt padding to protect your camera and lenses
- SD memory card pockets
- Plenty of extra pockets
Reviewing the Claremont

I’ve taken the Claremont on multiple trips, and I can tell you first hand that the quality is 100% worth the price. I’ve carried my bag through heavy rainfall without any stains on the beautiful grey leather. Furthermore, I’ve been able to fit all of my camera equipment into one bag along with my wallet and other necessities. When traveling long-term, it’s all about being able to keep up with your belongings while on the move. With the Claremont, I’m always ready to find specific items at the drop of a hat. As Lo & Sons states on their website, the goal is “less fumbling, more globetrotting”.

One of the particular advantages of the Claremont is that it doesn’t look like a camera bag. I find this to be extremely important when traveling in areas that are notorious for pickpocketing. If your bag is black and has the words “Nikon” or “Canon” in yellow, you’re making yourself a target. While wearing the Claremont, I’ve always felt safe, and most people assume that it’s just an average purse.
All in all, I’ve been impressed by how the quality has held up against wear and tear. If you’re looking for a feminine camera bag, I can 100% recommend the Claremont by Lo & Sons.
Lo & Sons graciously gifted me the Claremont bag for this post. However, as always, all opinions are my own.

Is is still holding up okay? I was worried this color may stain, especially from blue jeans

What a great bag, I too have been looking high and low for a better camera bag. The one that i have is bulky and ugly. There is no room for anything in it except for the camera. https://4000miles.com/

This is perfect! I bought a pretty camera bag a few years ago but it wasn't durable, which is obviously essential! This one looks like what we all need :)
