Tour the Colosseum

These tours are top-rated and sell out quickly. It’s typically only possible to visit at night during the warmer months. Note that the Roman Forum is closed at night.

To avoid the crowds, consider swinging by to toss your coin in at night. Use your right hand to throw the coin over your left shoulder!

Visit the Trevi Fountain

Skip the high temperatures and the crowds!  These tours are typically only offered during warmer months. It's a great way to see the Sistine Chapel!

Tour the Vatican Museums at night

One of the most popular options is to explore the hip Trastevere neighborhood.
