I like to think of Spanish as my first love. I did not grow up speaking Spanish; I began to learn when I was 14 years old. I was enthralled in my first Spanish class by the puzzle that was a foreign language. It seemed like a huge riddle that I had to figure out. Being able to speak, understand, write, and read the language was the goal.
Spanish is a wonderful and rich language. If you want to learn, don’t be like the majority of other people who give up after 2 years in high school. I guarantee that there is no better feeling than reaching the goal of being able to understand and speak another language.
